Hello and welcome to my blog, readers!
I am the humble author of this website, a twenty-something-year-old who likes tackling projects head-on and giving up halfway through. I've never done coding before -- at least, not to this extent -- so learning how to create my own neocities will be a slow process, but one that I hope to enjoy nonetheless.
I'm a college student (they/them) majoring in history with a focus on US history and historical preservation, but more on that later! I work at a flower shop and have three years of floral design under my belt, mainly in general arrangement style. In my free time, I like to garden, transcribe historical documents, write, and read. I have an eight-year-old beagle-pittie mix named Lola, who I'll probably make a page for sooner or later!
My main interests in the wide field of history are US history (both political and social), historical preservation, pop culture, music history/archaeomusicology, and archaeology. However, I probably won't delve into politics here very much, at least not in a modern sense. Aside from history, my biggest interests are rollercoasters, amusement parks, and themed entertainment -- an odd interest, maybe, but one I greatly enjoy. I could probably go on about this topic for hours, both in admiration and criticism. Aside from this, I also enjoy video games, classic literature, media analysis, and much more. You can view my favorites under the divider below.
My blog will be home to anecdotes and essays, discussions and commentaries, anything I can think of! I'm not the best at writing, but this blog might give me the kickstart I need to get on my feet and start scribbling things out. I hope you enjoy reading my blog and checking out my little slice of the internet!
